includes teams from St. Mary’s Youth Soccer, Waldorf Soccer Club and Calvert Soccer Association.  This division allows above average players the opportunity to play competitive soccer at another level.

Rec Plus

For the past 5+ years NSL has been fielding Rec Plus teams.  In addition to the recreational and travel division, in the Fall 2012 season, the NSL will field a Girls and Coed Rec Plus team in all age brackets (U8, U10, U12 & U14).

The primary focus for all three levels (Rec, Rec Plus and Travel) is player development and building player’s confidence through team sports.  Recreation teams are all coed teams and only play home games with other teams within our league.  For the teams in Rec Plus and Travel divisions, the focus remains the same, but the intensity and commitment increases along with the exposure for your child’s talent.  Rec Plus plays both home and away games within the Tri-County Area.

Once the season starts, schedules will be available on our website, we encourage you and your family to watch a few Rec Plus and travel team games to not only support our league, but to gain more insight on the different levels of play that our league has to offer.
